Brain and Visual Perception: The Story of a 25-Year Collaboration

This is a book about the collaboration between famous American neurophysiologists, Nobel Prize Laureates David Hubel and Torsten Wiesel, which began in 1958 and lasted until 1983. The book is a generalization of modern concepts about neural structures of visual system including cerebral cortex, and about the way of processing visual information. The nicely illustrated book, while highly scientific, is written in a simple and clear language.
